Stuart Krahn, CEPA®, CM&AA® is the founder and President of Krahn Capital Group, LLC. He has worked on investment banking engagements on both the buy-side and sell-side across a diverse array of industries. During his career, which includes hands-on operating experience as a Principal with a top-20 ENR-ranked global design firm, Stuart has helped companies grow organically and through strategic acquisitions. His first-hand experience inside the pre-and post-deal acquisition process as both an acquiring and an acquired company informs his current practice. Stuart’s educational background includes a BA from Saint John’s University in Collegeville, MN (summa cum laude), a Master’s in Philosophy from Loyola in Chicago, a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the U of M’s College of Design, and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the Carlson School at the U of M. He is a Minnesota-licensed real estate broker and is a FINRA-registered representative, passing the Series 24, 63, 79, and 82 examinations.

Kathy has more than 30 years of commercial and investment banking experience. She was a founding partner of Teneca, LLC, a boutique investment bank specializing is capital raising services. Previously, she served as a Vice President on the investment banking teams of Principal Financial Securities, EVEREN Securities and Manchester Financial Group. She began her business career as a commercial lender serving both middle-market and Fortune 500 companies at the former Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Company of Chicago and the former Norwest Bank in Minneapolis (now part of Wells Fargo). Kathy has completed direct senior debt transactions, senior and subordinated debt placements, private and public equity placements, mergers and acquisitions and recapitalizations. Kathy received her BA in French, German and Education from Meredith College and an M.B.A. in Finance from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Kenan-Flagler Business School. Kathy is a Minnesota-licensed real estate agent and is a FINRA-registered representative, passing the Series 7, 24, 63 and 66 examinations.

Tony has over 20 years of middle-market investment banking experience and over 5 years of Corporate Development Experience. He began his career at Dain Bosworth (now part of RBC) and was the founder of BlackTorch Capital, a boutique investment bank focused on sell-side mergers and acquisitions. His Corporate Development experience includes significant international mergers and acquisition experience work with both Vodafone and Equus Holdings. Tony currently serves as the FINOP for Kingfisher Securities, the broker dealer subsidiary of Krahn Capital Group, LLC. Tony received his BA in Economics and Finance from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. He is a FINRA-registered representative, passing the Series 7, 14, 24, 27, 63, 65, and 66 examinations.

Wayne has over 25 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions, and asset purchases and sales. He previously served as Associate General Counsel for Litigation Management, Mergers and Acquisitions for Alliant Techsystems, a publicly held company. He subsequently handled mergers and acquisitions as general counsel for a privately held company, and formerly was Vice President and General Counsel of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as an expert witness in real estate related arbitration and litigation. Wayne obtained his bachelor’s and law degree from the University of Minnesota and he is a Minnesota-licensed attorney and real estate broker.
